Kefalonia boat trips Fiscardo

Destinations

Kefalonia has a beautiful coastline with many stunning beaches of crystal clear, tranquil, turquoise waters, some only reachable by boat! Find your own secluded cove or even go across the channel to explore the neighbouring island of Ithaca.

Enjoy the privacy and freedom of renting your own boat and reaching locations only obtainable by sea.

Foki Bay

Foki Bay

South from Fiscardo Kefalonia one of the closest bays is Foki bay with a taverna by the beach.
The picturesque olive grove that borders the beach provides a good picnic spot and welcome shade during the warmer times of day.
The cave on the right hand side of the bay is interesting. It is possible to swim or take a boat right in and land on a pebbly beach. From this beach there is a labyrinth of tunnels which form part of a disused mine.

Polis Bay

Polis Bay

Across the Ithaca channel, Polis bay can be reached by motor-boat in about half an hour. For a few months in high season there is a cantina in the port of Polis.
You may wish to moor your boat and walk up to the village of Stavros where there is a choice of tavernas for lunch. It's also a good place to try the local honey-cake 'ravani'.

Deskalion Island

Deskalion Island

The island of Deskalion, also known as Douhalion and Asteri island is near the village of Evreti, south of Fiscardo Kefalonia.
The island is between Evreti on Kefalonia and Polis bay on Ithaca.
Here you will find some eerie snorkelling as there is a small shipwreck nearby.

Emblisi Bay

Emblisi Bay

North from Fiscardo Kefalonia the lovely horse-shoe bay of Emblisi is flanked either side by slabs of flat rocks.
This bay provides safe swimming and dropping anchor within the bay is not allowed.
A lovely place to swim and see magnificent views of Ithaca.

Kimilia & Dafnoudi

Kimilia & Dafnoudi

The bays of Kimilia and Dafnoudi are not accessible by car so can only be reached on foot or by motor-boat. These are both small idyllic bays with lovely views to Lefkas.
Surrounded by trees and steep cliffs, Dafnoudi bay is an absolute must see in Kefalonia. It has an amazing small and crystal clear water - ideal for snorkelling.
